Beebop of the Roman Lords<\/a><\/strong><\/h1>\nPostscript of Beebop’s Life<\/a><\/strong><\/h1>\nThere is another Roman Lord who gained some fame after he wrote a book chronicling his experiences in the Roman Lords and his life after the gang when he became a drug addict.\u00a0 His life was going nowhere as a heroin addict until he found Jesus.\u00a0 When he gave his life over to Jesus, he went to Bible College, became a pastor and evangelist and now leads a church in Richmond, Virginia called New Life Outreach Church.\u00a0 He has traveled the world preaching and evangelizing about his faith.<\/p>\n
Victor’s daughter emailed me yesterday with some pictures of her father when he was in the Roman Lords, whose turf was in the boundaries of Powell Street (East), Stone Ave (West), Sutter Ave (North) and Livonia Ave (South).\u00a0 Pop’s Candy Store on the corner of Riverdale and Powell Streets was a hangout.\u00a0 The Roman Lords were a very active and aggressive gang and were involved in many incidents of violence with area gangs.<\/p>\n
